GURGAON: A 33-year-old woman with disabilitieswho uses a wheelchair, has alleged on X that CISF personnel at Kolkata airport asked her at least thrice to “get up and walk two steps” during her security check-in on Wednesday.Arushi Singh, a law graduate from the National University of Singapore who is based in the NCR city, questioned the “sensitivity” of security personnel deployed at airports towards people with disabilities. A CISF officer at the airport told TOI she was only asked if she able to stand up and not be forced to do so. Arushi said she frequently visited Kolkata for work. A lawyer, Barrister Mike Ikegbunam, has been arraigned before Justice Mohammed Garba Umar of the Federal High Court sitting in Independence Layout, Enugu State on a seven-count charge bordering on money laundering and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of N91 million. In a Friday statement, the EFCC said its Enugu Zonal Command arrested the accused on Wednesday, January 31 following his arrest.
